Lord, I need You. I'm not perfect. I don't always do everything right. In the times that I'm moving out of my emotions, my choices are poor and irrational. Sometimes, I feel like I want to stay there. So, I reach for You Lord because I know you love me, you care for me, and you have greater expectations for me and my life in this life. You see things, I can't see, and You give me strength when I'm at my lowest. I'm pressing, I'm pushing myself in ways that I didn't think I could, it's a different kind of press because I know that with You by my side, I won't stay down for long.
Lift me up, God, fill me with Your Spirit, Your peace, Your love, God I need to be in Your presence. In this time of prayer, I need You to strenthen me. In 2 Corinthians 12 versus 9-10, You said Your grace is sufficient for me, and that You were made perfect in my weakness. I want to have glory in my infirmities so that the power of Jesus can rest on me because when I am weak, I'll then be made strong, because of You. I need Your strength. You said you give power to the faint and when I don't have might, you increase my power. That's what I need God, Your kind of power. I am powerless without You (Isaiah 40:29). For it is in You that I live, and move and have my being. You are my everything!
I ask You to strengthen me in every area of my life:
Give me strength for my spirit being-I need strength to do what You have called me to do, and to remain in Your will despite how I feel
Give me strength for my physical being and every aspect of my responsibilities for work, home, family and school.
Give me the wisdom to do everything I need. I am seeking Your face constantly (1 Chronicles 16:11). I trust You with my life. The joy of the Lord is my strength! Lord I love You and thank You for listening to me and being here with me always.
I ask this prayer in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
